Medical Trainees

Dr. Baldwin and Dr. Shaw are Clinical Assistant Professors at the University of British Columbia and are involved with the UBC Island Medical Program as well as the UBC Division of Rheumatology Training Program. Our general rheumatology clinics and the vasculitis clinic are dedicated teaching clinics. During your visit, you may be assessed by a medical student, resident or senior fellow-in-training. While this may prolong your visit, we are confident that your rheumatological care will be strengthened. We are grateful for your time and patience as well your gift of providing a learning opportunity for our medical trainees. If you feel uncomfortable seeing a medical student or resident, please inform our staff in advance of your appointment.
